I have to admit, at first I gave the original Slurm a good review. But now that I’ve had several different NE IPA’s, I feel like Shorts really missed the mark with that beer. Well only two months later their back to try to redeem themselves (I’m sure they’re doing this just to win me back) with the Double New England IPA – Slurm Lord. How does it stack up? I can’t believe I finally found it! I’ve been stalking this beer for what feels like weeks and I was finally able to find the Passion Fruit version of Odd Side’s Dirty Dank Juice. I have to say, it was worth the wait!
And since I seem to compare every NE IPA variety against Old Nation’s M-43, you’ll have to watch to see how it stacks up! (more…)
I’m back again with yet another Old Nation Brewing New England IPA. I can honestly not get enough of these. I think this is probably the most excited and interested in a beer style since I stopped drinking IPAs the first time around. I feel like I’m going out of my way to get my hands on as many NE IPAs as possible – is Boxer going to make me want to change my ways? Watch the video below to see!
This breview 4 U is one I was really looking forward to trying – Old Nation Brewing’s M-43 New England IPA. This is only the second NEIPA that I’ve tried, but if this is any indication of what’s to come… Where do I get more? Old Nation is in Williamston, MI – which is about half way between Howell and Lansing. I’m really looking forward to heading out there soon to try what they have on tap.
