Roak Brewing is back with it’s 3rd released iteration of their Devil Dog Oatmeal Stout. Following up on the French Toast Devil Dog, this time around it’s the Bourbon Barrel Aged French Toast Devil Dog (which is a mouthful). I’ve been waiting patiently for this to hit the shelves, and guess what… IT’S FINALLY HERE! Roak’s French Toast Devil Dog is finally hitting shelves – I’ve enjoyed it immensely on tap, but it’s almost more exciting that I can take it home any time I can find it! Hmmm, but do I like it? Roak Brewing Company’s Hopgazer – New England Style IPA

After seeing my review for their New England style double IPA Flavorful Five, Roak reached out to me to see if I’d be interested in coming to the taproom to review their newest New England Style IPA Hopgazer.

I sat down with Roak’s general manager Allen Hilliker to talk about where we thought the NE IPA style was headed, the differences in NE IPAs out there, some of Roak’s future plans – and most importantly, Hopgazer!
