Short’s Brewing – Juicy Brut IPA

Short’s Brewing’s Juicy Brut is a 4.2% IPA and it’s Short’s latest in the Brut IPA style. With Short’s pub in Bellaire, Michigan and the production facility in Elk Rapids, I’m always confused, but there’s one thing that I do know, and that’s that Short’s has no problem making some quality beers and they’re very agile with the beer they produce. Head 2 Head – Michigan Malty IPAs

This Head 2 Head is something I’ve wanted to do for a while now. When I tried the BBA Huma Lupa Licious against the regular version, it got me thinking. Short’s Brewing – Batch 8000 Quadruple IPA with Raspberrys!

Batch 8000 from Short’s Brewing is a Quadruple IPA weighing in at a whopping 15.8% – Let that soak in for a minute. This is one of the strongest beers I’ve had in recent memory and probably also one of the smoothest that I’ve had that is this strong. The raspberry flavor covers the alcohol bite and contributes to that smoothness. Is this something you should buy? Watch and find out!

Shorts Psychedelic Cat Grass – Triple Hopped IPA Review

Psychedelic Cat Grass by Short’s is made and shipped as fresh as possible. The pack I picked up was actually bottled the same day I bought it. This triple hopped IPA beauty may be too piney for some fans, but it teases with enough citrus sweetness to win me over. This is my first review of a Short’s beer since their 20% sale to Lagunitas, and I’m going to be as objective as possible when reviewing their beers going forward.
