Batch 10,000 from Short’s Brewing Company is a 14.2% ABV Double Brut IPA, brewed with mango and black currant and helps commemorate Short’s ten thousandth batch! Batch 8,000 was just last year and even further back, batch 5,000 was brewed in January 2016. How long is it going to take to get to 20,000 at this pace?! At 14.2%, how dry does this double brut IPA get, and does the mango and black currant help offset that high abv? Watch and find out!

Short’s Brewing – Juicy Brut IPA

Short’s Brewing’s Juicy Brut is a 4.2% IPA and it’s Short’s latest in the Brut IPA style. With Short’s pub in Bellaire, Michigan and the production facility in Elk Rapids, I’m always confused, but there’s one thing that I do know, and that’s that Short’s has no problem making some quality beers and they’re very agile with the beer they produce. So is the Brut style here to stay, and does Short’s Juicy Brut contribute to the overall lineup? Watch the video below!

Head 2 Head – Michigan Malty IPAs

This Head 2 Head is something I’ve wanted to do for a while now. When I tried the BBA Huma Lupa Licious against the regular version, it got me thinking. Could Huma Lupa Licious be my favorite malty Michigan IPA? Is it really better than Bell’s Two Hearted? What if we threw Blackrocks 51K IPA in there too? Well, on today’s video I do just that – I put them all to the test in my new “Head 2 Head” series.
