Elephant Juice is a 7.2% New England Style IPA from Eastern Market Brewing Company in Detroit’s historic Eastern Market. EMBC uses beautiful imagery on the label of their flagship new england style IPA that evokes a lot of memories from their immediate area, but does this NE IPA set itself apart from the crowd, or will this be one that the elephant would rather forget? Watch the review to find out the 411 on this brew from the 313.

Dragon’s Milk Reserve Maple Oak is an 11% Bourbon Barrel Aged Stout from New Holland Brewing Company in Holland, Michigan. This is the latest in New Holland’s Dragon’s Milk Reserve line, and frankly I’m kind of dumbstruck that this is the first time that they’ve just had a maple variety of this specific beer. Maple barrels seem to be the adjunct of the time, so it feels a little late for New Holland to just be putting one of these out now. So how does it fare against the last few Dragon’s Milk Reserves out there? Watch to get the story!

Final Absolution is a 10% Belgian Trippel from Dragonmead Microbrewery in Warren, Michigan. I don’t know how I went so long without posting a review of a Dragonmead beer, so to atone for my beer sins, here’s final absolution – the Warren taproom is a shrine to The Belgian style, with over 30 beers on tap at any given moment. Do I need to speak to the priest, or is this my almost final absolution? Watch for the lowdown!
Mas Agave is Founders Brewing’s Newest release in the Barrel Aged Series for 2019. As the third release of this year’s Barrel Aged Series, Mas Agave is a Tequila Barrel Aged Imperial Gose brewed with Agave, and it’s weighing in at a paltry 10% ABV. You might be saying, 10% for a beer in the barrel aged series?! But I can guarantee this is going to pack a punch. Did the tequila make me do it? Watch and find out!

Midland Brut IPA is the latest Brut IPA out of the Midland Brewing Company in Midland, Michigan. Midland Brut IPA is a 4.6% ABV Brut, and I think this is the first real sessionable Brut that I’ve had to date. That session ale quality ads to the intrigue for me, because I always wonder if something with such a low ABV can have enough taste to satisfy most beer drinkers. Today I put that to the test!
