Petoskey Brewing – Robusta Nut Coconut Chocolate Porter

Petoskey Brewing’s Robusta Nut is a Coconut Chocolate Porter that weighs in at 5.5%, which is fairly typical for a porter – where it attempts to stand out is by not only having flavors of coconut, but chocolate too. Petoskey Brewing – Cosmati Mosaic Double IPA – A NE DIPA in Disguise?

I’ll be the first to admit that I can’t totally tell the difference between all the hops being used in beer – I just know when I like a beer. But, in the case of Mosaic hops, I think I’m starting to be able to pick out more and more characteristics as I try more and more beers that use Mosaic.

My first brush with Petoskey’s beer was in their NE IPA – Juicy, and I wasn’t overly impressed with it, but I’m always open to try more from any brewery. Cosmati Mosiac is that second impression, and this time I was really pleasantly suprised.
