I was really impressed with the first Blackrocks beer I tried, Presque Ale, so when I saw The Murray Project on shelves, I was excited to give them another go. Woah, Wolverine State Brewing’s 2017 Massacre weighs in at 14.5%. That… is really strong. When do you decide to stop drinking beer and start drinking bourbon instead? I’m really curious to see how this one will mellow out after some cellaring. (more…)
Today I’m checking out Bell’s newest coffee milk stout, Arabicadabra. Arabicadabra was just released in October and boy is it a doozy. It’s brewed with a cold coffee extract and the added lactose makes this thing creamy as all get out. Bell’s is adding to their already killer lineup with another quality beer.
