Old Nation – Full Earth – Boss Tweed pt. 2?

Full Earth from Old Nation Brewing is their newest Double NE IPA, and I would think a direct competitor to their original DNEIPA, Boss Tweed.  I think it was only a few weeks from time I’d heard this was being released to it hitting shelves, and I was wondering how it would set itself apart from Boss Tweed.   With Boss Tweed taking a bit of a brew, is it a good substitute?  In today’s video, I not only review Full Earth, but I also do a full *scientific side by side between the two – and I make a desert island declaration.  Watch for more!

Oddside – Shadynasty’s IPA – A New Dank Juice?

Odd Side Ales didn’t open a club with their gambling money, but they did create a beer and named it after their star attraction – Shadynasty. Shadynasty’s is a 7% IPA, that beer advocate calls a double IPA for some reason. I’m not sure who’s right, but that doesn’t stop me from drinking it and bringing the truth to you!

Short’s Brewing – Sticky Boots Triple Dry Hopped Double IPA!

Today I’m having a gander at Short’s Brewing’s Sticky Boots, which is a triple dry hopped double IPA. Say that five times fast and that means you should have another. Short’s says this about it:
“Sticky Boots is a triple dry-hopped Double IPA. Copper in color with a substantial white head carrying dank aromas of floral and citrus hops. Leading with strong tropical flavors and a juicy mouthfeel, this beer transitions into highlighting the floral hops. Well balanced and easy to drink, Sticky Boots finishes with huge juicy tropical flavors.”

This review is a bit old, recorded in March but due to some extenuating circumstances with my studio (the dungeon) I’ve released this one today. I’ve wanted to put this out for a while but there’s been so many great beers out lately, I couldn’t find room!

Enjoy and let me know what you think!

Trillium Brewing Company – Permutation Thirty-Three Double IPA Review

Going back to mid-April, I took a trip out to Boston and was able to check out Trillium Brewing Company’s downtown location. Today’s review is of their Permutation 33, which was one of an assorted 4 pack that I was able to pick up. If you’d like to see more out of michigan reviews, let me know in the comments down below and I’ll see what I can get out there for you all!

Bell’s Brewery – Double Two Hearted Ale – Double IPA

Bell’s Two Hearted is one the highest reviewed beers in the country, and admittedly one of my favorites – so when I heard that Bell’s was releasing their Double Two Hearted, an 11% double IPA version of their already hugely successful IPA, it was a no brainer that I had to bring it to the channel for you. I’ve said over and over that Two Hearted is one of my all time favorite beers – definitely in my top 5, so how does the double IPA version of it rank? Can it take the top spot? Watch and find out!
