Roak Brewing’s Flavorful Five – A 9.2% double New England Style IPA

Today I’m taking a look at Roak Brewing’s Flavorful Five – a 9.2% Double New England Style IPA from Roak Brewing in Royal Oak, Michigan. This is a great DNEIPA with a sweet juiciness and a slight boozy taste that sets it apart from others I’ve tried. Check it out!

Rochester Mills – Juice Bigalow, Hop Gigalo – NE IPA Review

Today I’m checking out Rochester Mills “Juice Bigalow, Hop Gigalo”, a 6% abv juicy american IPA. With the recent surge of new England style IPA’s, this is another in that style (although they call it an american IPA.) While Rochester Mills is probably most known for their stouts, I’m really intrigued and interested in trying out how they spin the NE IPA trend. Does it meet expectation!? Watch and see!
