Odd Side Ales – Head 2 Head Bean Flicker and the Hoof Hearted Coffee Variant
Bean Flicker from Odd Side Ales is a Blonde Ale Mainstay, and now they’re releasing collaborations with different coffee roasters. Today I’m going to be putting the original Odd Side Bean Flicker against a version of Bean Flicker Brewed with Hoof Hearted Coffee featuring yergacheffe coffee from Ethiopia. Odd Side Ales – Bourbon Maple Wishes and Pecan Dreams
Odd Side Ales Bourbon Maple Wishes and Pecan Dreams is a Barrel Aged Porter that weighs in at 11% ABV. This was part of their yearly black Friday release along with Rye Hipster Stout, Raisins Almonds and Figs Oh My!, and Big Kahuna, but enough was left over for a small amount to hit distribution. I haven’t had a barrel aged porter before, so I’m ready to jump in and get a taste of that maple, bourbon and pecan flavor!

Oddside Ales – Caged Wisdom Brut IPA
I don’t know how many of these are going to come out, or if we’ll see a Brut IPA explosion like we saw in the last two years with the New England style, but the exciting thing about Brut IPAs are that they’re new, and they’re popping up all over the place. This time I have Oddside Ales Brut IPA, Caged Wisdom (Yes, Arrested Development fans…) so with this being only my second Brut IPA, I only have Brewery Vivant’s Champion Brut to compare it to, so what’s different?
