Today I’m checking out Pigeon Hill Brewing Company’s Imperial Stout – Your Mom On French Toast. I can honestly say that Pigeon Hill has not disappointed me yet. They were my number one pick during my Oktoberfest drink off, and the Salted Caramel Porter was my favorite beer of 2017’s Fall Michigan Beer Fest in Eastern Market. I’ve been waiting to get my hands on “Your Mon On French Toast” for about 2 or 3 months when it was last released. It seemed like at that time it wasn’t gonna make it out to the East side of the state. Well this time around it was a different story. So how does YMOFT stack up? Watch the video and find out!
Today’s breview for you is a sweet orangy imperial IPA from Griffin Claw Brewing in Birmingham, MI. Project Clementine doesn’t pull any punches while living up to it’s namesake, and follows those punches up with a boozy left hook. Watch for more details!
New Holland is finally diving headfirst into the New England style IPA market with their first offering – Tangerine Space Machine. While other breweries in the state saw the success of M43, it seems like New Holland took a little more patience and methodical approach – and what we get here is definitely a refined NE IPA that clearly had a lot of thought put behind it. But… what did I think of the taste? Stay tuned to see!
Don’t say that Bell’s doesn’t like to take chances – Larry’s Latest is their first foray into Kettle Sour ales. I’ve been on a bit of a sour kick lately after avoiding them for years. How does Larry’s latest fare against the plethora of other sours out there, and can a sour produced on this level be as good as a handcrafted sour? Stay tuned to find out!
Batch 8000 from Short’s Brewing is a Quadruple IPA weighing in at a whopping 15.8% – Let that soak in for a minute. This is one of the strongest beers I’ve had in recent memory and probably also one of the smoothest that I’ve had that is this strong. The raspberry flavor covers the alcohol bite and contributes to that smoothness. Is this something you should buy? Watch and find out!
While I’m busy digging out of this hardcore winter weather we’re seeing, I took the time to check out Boatyard Brewing Company’s Lake Effect Double IPA. Lake Effect Double IPA is one of the maltiest double IPAs I’ve ever tasted. Where most beers in this style usually try and smash your teeth out with piney hoppiness, Boatyard goes in a different direction and I find that to be extremely intriguing and refreshing.
To quote Phil Collins, “I’ve been waiting for this moment” – not for my whole life but for a while. Today I’m bringing you my top 3 Double New England Style IPAs. You might be thinking to yourself “What authority does this guy have?” Well, I’ve reviewed almost 20 Michigan New England Style IPAs in the past 8 months so I’d say I have some experience.
I’m putting Old Nation’s Boss Tweed, Witch’s Hat’s This Guy and Roak Brewing’s Flavorful Five up against each other to see which is the best so far.

Hey Friends, I got one of them new breview4u, and this time it’s a sour! Double Cherry Sherbet is from HOMES brewery out in Ann Arbor – only the 2nd sour that I’ve reviewed on this channel and I really feel like I’ve been spoiled with how good these 2 are. I don’t know whether or not that’s just kind of emblematic for Sours, or if I’ve just gotten really lucky with the ones that I’ve tried. Hear more by watching this review!

Today’s Breview 4 U is Machu Beechu from Short’s Brewing Company. When I read the label, I saw Passion Fruit, and El Dorado, Mandarina Bavaria and Vic Secret hops – and that sounds like an awesome combination of flavors and aromas. Did it live up to the expectation? Stay tuned to find out!
You can find out more about Machu Beechu at Short’s website here: https://www.shortsbrewing.com/beers/machu-beechu/
Hey friends, today’s breview 4 u is Diggity Dank Juice from Odd Side Ales. I’ve been a big proponent of the Dank Juice line, and I think I’ve probably reviewed at least 5 of them – here’s a link to that playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLp_uvh4aMwQnTTpV8bYNFdWBgvG5nxISY
This time we’re talking Simcoe, El Dorado and Amarillo hops – so is the new Diggity Dank Juice a Dank Juice Masterpiece? Keep watching to find out!
