Here I was just minding my business, nosing around on the internet and I saw the nastiest rumor online. Supposedly Stone was releasing a hazy, east coast inspired IPA. I thought for a few minutes that I had to be dreaming. I pinched myself and when I didn’t wake up (because that always works in dreams right, pinching yourself?) I found out that it was TRUE! Absolutely True! Once I figured out that the world wasn’t actually about to end, and this wasn’t one of the signs of one of the seven seals being broken, I knew I had one job… and that one job was to bring Stone Brewing’s Fear Movie Lions to my loyal viewers – viewers just like you!
I’m back with another Stone and Nutista collaboration, and this time they brought Tangerine Express IPA, and a nutbutter to match! Tangerine Express made it’s debut last year in bottles, and now it’s available in cans, which should help perserve even more freshness for this year round release. Nutista’s Tangerine Express nutbutter is made with peanuts, blanched almonds, brewers malts, sea salts and overflowing with tangerine and pineapple.

This is my first non-Michigan beer review! Thanks to viewer Ryan Walsh, he tipped me off that Stone was looking for YouTube beer reviewers to give their Totalitarian Imperial Russian Stout the fair and honest treatment. Stone reached out and also sent along A nutbutter of the same name by Nutista.
The nutbutter by Nutista was developed in collaboration with Stone, so I’m giving that a try as well.
