In today’s video I’m putting Old Nation’s Boss Tweed in a side by side comparison with Ascension Brewing Company’s Reclassified. Both New England Style Double IPAs are going head 2 head to see which comes out on top. Ever since first trying this new version of Reclassified about 6 months ago, I knew it was a perfect competitor for Boss Tweed, which has been my favorite New England style Double IPA to date. Ascension Brewing Company in Novi, Michigan has quietly been releasing several great beers, and one of their tried and true brews has been Reclassified, a New England Style Double IPA. At 8.5% ABV, Reclassified is brewed with honey and double dry hopped with Citra hops. Does Reclassified contain any unknown secrets of the universe? Watch and find out!

Here’s my top 10 Michigan Beers of 2018 – These are the 10 best Michigan Beers that I had this year! 2018 has been a great year for Michigan Craft Beer, and a really great year for Draft Therapy too. I surpassed 700 subscribers thanks to you guys, and I’m hoping to keep it going well into the new year and beyond! Let’s see if we can hit 1000 Subs soon, and in the meantime watch what I consider to be the 10 best beers I tried this year – some new breweries, some old ones, and some surprises I hope. Ascension Brewing – Milennials Imperial Berliner Weisse with Sour Patch Kids!

Ascension Brewing Company just celebrated their 3rd anniversary this past weekend (September 29th, 2018) and to commemorate the event, they had 4 beer releases – two version of “Just Toorf”, a Rye Barrel Aged Gorilla Juice (weighing in at a whopping 19% abv) and the beer I have here today – Milennials. Milennials is a 7% Imperial Berliner-Weisse that’s been brewed with Sour Candy (aka sour patch kids), and while I abstained from trying it at their anniversary release, I’m totally looking forward to trying it on today’s video!

In their debut canning run from a new canning line, Ascension Brewing Company in Novi has released Spool Toorf, a 9.2% New England Style IPA that uses froot loops, lactose, marshmallow and double dry hopped with galaxy and mosaic hops. Now brewing with cereal sounds like it could be good, but is it?
