S’more Beast in my Cup from Pigeon Hill Brewing Company in Muskegon, Michigan is the stout of the day today – a big 10% imperial stout, from the brewers of Cinnagram. I find Pigeon Hill almost never disappoints, so how about a s’more stout? Watch to see what I think now!

Ascension Brewing Company in Novi, Michigan has quietly been releasing several great beers, and one of their tried and true brews has been Reclassified, a New England Style Double IPA. At 8.5% ABV, Reclassified is brewed with honey and double dry hopped with Citra hops. Does Reclassified contain any unknown secrets of the universe? Watch and find out!

Blushing Monk is a Belgian Style Raspberry Ale from Founders Brewing Company. Founders Blushing Monk is making it’s return in 2019 after a 4 year absence from the market, and is considered by Founders themselves to be “Rubaeus’ Older Sibling”, having a more mature and robust flavor. If a 9.2% ABV Belgian Style Ale brewed with raspberries sounds up your alley, then stay tuned!

Bell’s Hopslam is a yearly release from Bell’s Brewery. Hopslam is a double IPA that’s brewed with honey and for the past few years has been released in January. Hopslam for 2019 doesn’t change the formula too much sticking to 10% ABV, but it seems to have gotten less bitter from year to year, but does it still satisfy those west coast IPA fans, or does it abandon it’s bitter past in order to emphasize the honey aspect? Griffin Claw’s Flying Buffalo is a line of barrel aged stouts, and today I have all 8 varieties from their 2018 line! Rapsberry and Chocolate, Spiced Strong Ale,Oblivious and all the others are here.
