On Today’s video, I’m reviewing Greenstone – an American IPA with a little different flavor, and the last beer in Old Nation Brewing’s New Orthodox IPA series that I haven’t gotten to yet. I already had the opportunity to review Boss Tweed, M-43 and Boxer NE IPA. It’s the end of an era, and I also mention my thoughts on selling tickets to Old Nation’s Boss Tweed Double NE IPA can release coming up this week.

Today I’m checking out Rochester Mills “Juice Bigalow, Hop Gigalo”, a 6% abv juicy american IPA. With the recent surge of new England style IPA’s, this is another in that style (although they call it an american IPA.) While Rochester Mills is probably most known for their stouts, I’m really intrigued and interested in trying out how they spin the NE IPA trend. Does it meet expectation!? Watch and see!

Today I’m checking out Ore Dock Brewing’s Fresh Coast – a 7.5% ABV Belgian IPA from Marquette, Michigan. Nice sweetness and subtle spice sets it apart from the typical, traditional IPAs that I’m used to.

Drafting Table Brewing Company in Wixom, MI takes on the very versatile Cream Ale style with their Reserve Mal – an 4.8% Cream Ale. Cream Ales don’t seem to grab my attention like other styles do – does this one buck the trend? (more…)
Lake Brothers wants to position themselves as Michigan’s best regional lager – like what Shiner is to Texas and Yuengling to Pennsylvania. I don’t drink much lager, but this got my curiosity going. (more…)
