Bell’s Brewery has released another in their Larry’s Latest series – Flamingo Fruit Fight. Flamingo Fruit Fight is a 5% ABV Passion fruit and Lime Tart Ale available in either 4 16oz cans, or 6 12oz bottles. With a shelf life of about 6 months, can these last until the summer? Hopslam Old Vs New – How Does Aging a Year Effect this Double IPA?

Bell’s Hopslam is a Double IPA that Bell’s claims has a 3 month shelf life. How does the taste change if you hold onto it for more than 3 months? Today I’m opening a 1 year old Hopslam (2018) and conducting a side by side taste test versus a fresh 2019 Hopslam. Does aging this Double IPA really make that much of a difference, and how does a 2018 Hopslam hold up against a 2019 Hopslam? Watch this video for all of those questions to be answered!

Ellison – Big Black Stout Review

Ellison Brewery and Spirits Big Black Stout is an 11% ABV Imperial Stout. I’ve had several of Ellison’s IPAs (Crescent Fresh, Relativity, Evolution Series) but other than Der Roest, I haven’t had one of their stouts. Today that changes with Big Black Stout. So does Ellison know how to do stouts too, or are they primarily gonna be one of those IPA houses? You’ll just have to stay tuned to find out!

Head 2 Head – Boss Tweed vs. Reclassified

In today’s video I’m putting Old Nation’s Boss Tweed in a side by side comparison with Ascension Brewing Company’s Reclassified. Both New England Style Double IPAs are going head 2 head to see which comes out on top. Ever since first trying this new version of Reclassified about 6 months ago, I knew it was a perfect competitor for Boss Tweed, which has been my favorite New England style Double IPA to date.
