Short’s Brewing Company – Batch 10,000 Double Brut IPA

Batch 10,000 from Short’s Brewing Company is a 14.2% ABV Double Brut IPA, brewed with mango and black currant and helps commemorate Short’s ten thousandth batch! Batch 8,000 was just last year and even further back, batch 5,000 was brewed in January 2016. How long is it going to take to get to 20,000 at this pace?! At 14.2%, how dry does this double brut IPA get, and does the mango and black currant help offset that high abv? Watch and find out!

Short’s Brewing – Juicy Brut IPA

Short’s Brewing’s Juicy Brut is a 4.2% IPA and it’s Short’s latest in the Brut IPA style. With Short’s pub in Bellaire, Michigan and the production facility in Elk Rapids, I’m always confused, but there’s one thing that I do know, and that’s that Short’s has no problem making some quality beers and they’re very agile with the beer they produce. So is the Brut style here to stay, and does Short’s Juicy Brut contribute to the overall lineup? Watch the video below!

Head 2 Head – Michigan Malty IPAs

This Head 2 Head is something I’ve wanted to do for a while now. When I tried the BBA Huma Lupa Licious against the regular version, it got me thinking. Well, on today’s video I do just that – I put them all to the test in my new “Head 2 Head” series.

Which other beers would you like to see go Head 2 Head?

Short’s Brewing – Sticky Boots Triple Dry Hopped Double IPA!

Today I’m having a gander at Short’s Brewing’s Sticky Boots, which is a triple dry hopped double IPA. Say that five times fast and that means you should have another. Short’s says this about it:
“Sticky Boots is a triple dry-hopped Double IPA. Copper in color with a substantial white head carrying dank aromas of floral and citrus hops. Leading with strong tropical flavors and a juicy mouthfeel, this beer transitions into highlighting the floral hops. Well balanced and easy to drink, Sticky Boots finishes with huge juicy tropical flavors.”

This review is a bit old, recorded in March but due to some extenuating circumstances with my studio (the dungeon) I’ve released this one today. I’ve wanted to put this out for a while but there’s been so many great beers out lately, I couldn’t find room!

Enjoy and let me know what you think!
